About Us
We are a small producer of ethically produced rare breed pigs.
The
holding incorporates the highest standards of animal welfare and
follows good natural care of the land, free from chemicals and
artificial fertiliser. We are proud that our pigs are free ranging
and live all their life totally outdoors, with plenty of space to
root and forage enabling them to express their natural behaviour.
They have access to unlimited fresh water and are able to create the
all important mud wallows in which to keep cool in the summer months.
When the time comes they are taken personally by us to a small local
abattoir where they are despatched in a quick and humane manner. As
we try to have all our meat pre ordered it can be cut to the
customers’ requirements, and can include sausages as well as bacon.

Our Saddleback, Gloucester Old Spot & Large Black Rare Breed Pigs are ethically produced in open rural surroundings on the Lincolnshire / Nottinghamshire border, to the highest welfare standards.
